Hi- I'm Adam. I was born in 1989. I grew up in the densely forested haven of Eastern Washington known as Cheney where I spent my early years catching snakes, digging giant holes in the ground and pretending to shoot imaginary villains (and my neighbors). In middle school I picked up the guitar as a means to avoid the dreaded piano lessons my mom had required since elementary school, and I began writing songs. I soon had a band that played my music, had shaggy haircuts, and wore outrageous outfits. Then I went to college in Portland, Or. and got all serious about music. I practiced a lot of guitar and hurt my arms and couldn’t play for a long time. As a result I started writing music again and singing all the things I couldn’t do on the guitar. That’s pretty much all you need to know for right now…

You wonder why she hasn’t called It’s been 10 days since you last saw her on a Saturday its Tuesday now “Maybe I’ll pass her in the street” you think as you walk 10 blocks south but you don’t see her so you catch a bus Oh memor-emor-emory she’ll be gone Before tonight so Say your goodbyes and I’ll see you In the morning Oh memor-emor-emory will be gone Before tonight so Say your goodbyes and I’ll see you In the morning Its getting dark out and you’re Having trouble reading street signs Through the foggy windows of the number 9 So at the next stop you get off But leave your coat and hat on board By now you can’t remember who you’re looking for Or where you live or what your name is And you’re sitting in the rain when sirens find you And they bring you home refrain Maybe she’ll be found Behind a copy of tomorrow’s paper Waiting patiently But then it’s possible She never ever even existed When you wak
